Employment Levels:
Trainee - For applicants who have no prior or limited experience as a caregiver but who meet the qualifications to become a caregiver. The trainee status lasts for thirty days. After thirty days a performance evaluation is completed and the employee is moved to “experienced status” or released from the company.
Experienced - For applicants who have a minimum of one year experience as a caregiver professionally or for a family member but don’t hold any licenses or certifications as a caregiver. This status is also for employees who have completed our thirty day trainee program but don’t hold any licenses or certifications as a caregiver.
PCA - For applicants who hold a Patient Care Aide license, have a minimum of one year experience as a PCA and demonstrate competency during the interview evaluation.
CNA - For applicants who hold a Certified Nurses Assistant license.
General Employment Requirements
In order to join our incredible team, all home care applicants need to be able to provide the following:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Two professional work references
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- 1-year minimum experience for non-licensed individuals
- Clear Criminal Background
- Clear driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Resident of Virginia
